80 Percent of Hotel and Entertainment Venues in N. Jakarta Instal Betawi Ornaments

North Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-dept. (Sudin Parbud) continues to monitor Betawi icons installation in hotels and entertainment venues. It is noted around 80 percent of total 189 hotels and entertainment venues in North Jakarta have installed Betawi ornaments.
From total 189 hotels and entertainment sites, 62 of them which are star and non-star hotels have installed Betawi ornaments
North Jakarta Sudin Parbud Head, Mat Nasir explained, monitoring on Betawi icons installation is done based on Perda No. 4/2015 about Betawi Culture Preservation; Pergub No. 229/2016 about Implementation of Betawi Culture Preservation, and Pergub No. 11/2017 about Betawi Icons.

He said, his side will continue to socialize and encourage hotels and entertainment venues without Betawi ornaments yet.
"We will monitor its development. We will keep encourage them to install it soon," he affirmed.
